Function in Play
- No Kindred enters the Tower of London.
- In the Dark Ages, Mithras’s haven was in tunnels beneath the Tower. Something happened — something dark is buried underground, something that predates Mithras and possibly predates the Romans.
- The Tower radiates a wrongness that Kindred sense instinctively. Even Mithras eventually abandoned it.
- By 1969, the prohibition is so old that most Kindred don’t know WHY they avoid it — they just do.
- The mortal world sees a tourist attraction; the Kindred world sees a door that must never be opened.
Physical Read
- Nine centuries of stone and history. Ravens. Beefeaters. Crown Jewels. Tourists by day.
- By night, something else. Kindred with Auspex who look at the Tower feel a pressure behind their eyes, like staring into a searchlight.
- The oldest Nosferatu tunnels route AROUND the Tower’s foundations, never through them.
